Twelve years ago, a starving artist fell in love with a cute barista. Before words were spoken, a simple red balloon emoji became the symbol of their love, creativity, and shared journey. Now, that journey has led to the creation of The Monastery, a new creative hub in the heart of Peoria.

The Red Balloon Art Show will feature stunning works from over 20 talented local artists, each interpreting the red balloon as a symbol of love, connection, support, and hope. Through painting, sculpture, mixed media, and more, this show will remind us all of the power of creativity to uplift and inspire. These unique works will be available for purchase, a great opportunity for you to be a part of The Monastery’s story. The Red Balloon Art Show runs May 8th through June 27th.
